FIELD: manufacture of reinforced concrete railroad ties with use of vibration compaction of concrete mix. SUBSTANCE: line includes successively arranged sections 1 and 2 for placement of concrete mix into multicavity mold 4 and subsequent compaction of mix in mold 4, respectively. The line is provided with portal 11 which horizontally travels over rails. Accommodated inside portal 11 is a row of manipulators 12 and 13. Multicavity mold 4 with tensioned string packs is installed on roller conveyor 6 of the first section 1 and moved up to limiting stop 7. Portal 11 is moved to the first section. Embedded washers are supplied by power cylinders with the help of gates to working zone of hole-forming cores. In so doing, sliders are lowered by power cylinders and together with sliders are also lowered removable parts of hole-forming cores. After gates leave the working zone of hole-forming cores, sliders continue lowering with the help of power cylinders, and removable parts of hole-forming cores continue lowering together with slides until they are fitted on heads of nonremovable parts of hole-forming cores. In this case embedded washers assume the design position. After installation of hole-forming cores, embedded washers and diaphragms, movable portal 11 is moved to the second section 2 of concrete mix vibration compaction, and concrete placer 8 moves to occupy the former position of portal to uniformly distribute concrete mix over mold 4. Upon filling of mold 4 with concrete mix, mold is moved over roller conveyor 6 to the second station 2 for vibration compaction of concrete mix. Upon completion of vibration compaction, auxiliary members are removed from mold 4 by portal 11. EFFECT: higher productivity of the line; higher quality of manufactured ties. 4 cl, 7 dwg
