FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: slider-crank mechanism is used for control of amount of stroke of slider of reciprocating drives without stopping the mechanism. Rotation from stem-pinion is transmitted to driven wheel and eccentric bush connected with it; eccentric bush sets the connecting rod in rotation. Torque is transmitted from the wheel to bush due to hole in the wheel hub located eccentrically and to single-throw crankshaft through hole in bush. In the bush-tenon joint of single-throw crankshaft screw pair is provided. Axis of tenon is parallel to axis of rotation of single-throw crankshaft. Hole of hub of driven wheel has eccentricity equal to that of single-throw crankshaft. Changing the position of movable support, amount of eccentricity of bush relative to axis of rotation of mechanism may be changed due to which length of stroke of slider may be changed, thus the dynamic characteristics of mechanism and enhancing its reliability.
