FIELD: thiol and/or thioether- aralkyl nitrogen-containing hydrocarbons being covalently bound with inorganic solid carriers. SUBSTANCE: origin solution is brought into contact with composition which comprises thiol and/or thioether aralkyl nitrogen-containing ligand together with solid carrier. Said carrier has formula (given in specification) wherein A and B are NR, N(R) CH2S and SCH2D, D is S and SCH2, E is SH and H, R is aralkyl, R2 is H, SH, OH, lower alkyl and aralkyl, c=1-10, d=0-10, e=0-10, X is (CH2)a(OCH2CHR1CH2) or aralkyl, Y and Z are Cl, Br, J, alkyl, alkoxy, substituted alkyl or substituted alkoxy group; its matrix being chosen of group comprising sand, silica gel, glass, glass fiber, alumina, titanium dioxide, zirconium dioxide, nickel oxide or other hydrophylic inorganic carriers and mixtures thereof. Proposed composition binds desired ions into complex. Origin solution is removed away from contact. Composition comprising desired ions being bound with it and thus producing complex is brought into contact with receiving solution. Desired ions in their concentrated state are then extracted.
