FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking venous blood sample to obtain native serum that is then placed into a cell for measuring its absorption spectrum in 430-715 nm bandwidth. Then the serum is poured into open reservoir and dried. The dry residue is crushed and mixed with Vaseline oil and infrared absorption spectrum of the sample is taken. The ratio of absorption maximum at 1165 cm-1 to absorption maximum at 1070 cm-1 is calculated. Absorption strips at 680 and 715 nm being detected and/or the ratio magnitude being less than or equal to 0.43, malignant neoplasm is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis.
