FIELD: treatment of radioactive ion-exchange resins by curing. SUBSTANCE: method includes mixing of dehydrated ion-exchange resins with ground radioactive PVC materials. Mixture is heated up to 140-150 C, placed in PVC bags and pressed to form fused monolith. After heating, gradual cooling is effected. Ion-exchange resins are mixed with PVC wastes, preferably, in weight ratio (60-70):(40-30). Pressing is carried out at pressure of 3-4 MPa for 15-25 min. Cooling is carried out at the same pressure for 3.0-3.5 h down to temperature of 20-30 C. EFFECT: increased degree of filling of cured products with ion-exchange resin and decreased degree of radionuclide leaching from them. 5 cl, 1 tbl
