FIELD: build-up welding primarily for bodies of revolution. SUBSTANCE: in build-up welding, melting zone is produced by beam swept in the form of several parallel lines and powdered material to be built up is fed to zone of first line of sweep in direction of part displacement. In build-up welding of bodies of revolution, beam is swept in the form of two lines parallel to generating line of surface to be built up spaced through L = KP/drl apart, where L is distance, mm; P is electron beam power, kW; dr is effective diameter of beam on surface of part being built up, mm; l is electron beam sweep along generating line on surface of part being built up, mm; K is coefficient of proportionality, cu. mm/kW. EFFECT: reduced heat energy insertion in build-up welding process, improved efficiency of powdered material utilization. 2 cl, 1 dwg
