FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of additive technologies and can be used in the surfacing with a wire metal material with melting by heat sources: a laser beam, an electron beam, a plasma arc, a plasma jet. Proposed is a method for additive surfacing metal articles with adaptive feed of a filler wire, comprising feeding a filler wire into a surfacing region of a metal product in which the filler wire is fused with at least one concentrated energy stream, wherein the adaptive supply of the filler wire, which provides controlled drop transfer of the facing material to the surfacing area, is carried out with a cyclic change in the speed or interruption of the supply of the filler wire according to the binary feedback signal based on processing of electric signal in presence or absence of electric contact of filler wire with base metal article, wherein the metal article and the filler wire are included in the voltage source circuit, adaptive feed of filler wire is characterized by alternating step of feeding filler wire to metal article at registration of feedback signal high level and step of filler wire feed interruption at registration of low level signal.
EFFECT: increased stability and reproducibility of the process of additive surfacing with metal wire, increased quality of metal items of additive wire surfacing and reduced complexity of technological development of modes of additive wire surfacing of metal items.
