FIELD: optic materials. SUBSTANCE: invention, dealing with glass transparent in IR spectrum region and being intended to be used in technology of fiber-optic system transmission, aims at increasing atomic homogeneity of glass structure. The task is solved by that at least one chemical element from two or more ones contained in optic glass is present in isotope-enriched form. Only stable isotopes are considered. Highest atomic homogeneity is achieved at limiting isotope enrichment when one of element isotope is present in monoisotope state. EFFECT: improved glass structure.
