METHOD FOR PRODUCING VODKA "KHRUSTALNY RODNIK" Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of solution from ethyl rectified alcohol and water and it is cleaned directly in sorting tank by modified starch. After introduction of citric acid, mixture is settled, decanted, filtered through filter "Progress" and directed into finishing tank. Sugar and powder-like activated carbon for additional cleaning are added into finishing tank. Mixture is mixed, filtered on filter-press "Progress" and directed to receiver of prepared product. Aqueous-alcoholic infusion of rye malt of Ist discharging is directed to the same receiver. Prepared vodka is bottled. Vodka contains the following ingredients, kg/1000 dal of prepared product: citric acid, 0.2-0.4; sugar, 14-16; and vodka also has, l: aqueous-alcoholic infusion of rye malt of Ist discharging, 4-6; aqueous-alcoholic liquid, the balance.
