FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of solution by mixing ethyl rectified alcohol "Extra" and corrected potable water up to 40-% strength and 65.8-% sugar syrup is introduced in it. Then mixture is cleaned on carbon columns, and filtrate of the Ist discharging of maize groats infusion is introduced. The latter is prepared by single-stage digestion of maize groats, its filtration and ageing for 1-2 h. The vodka has the following ratio of ingredients, l/1000 dal: filtrate of the aqueous-alcoholic infusion of the Ist discharging of maize groats, 7-9; 65.8-% sugar syrup, 17-18; aqueous-alcoholic liquid, the balance. Combination of ingredients allows to increase biological value of vodka by enriching it with beta-carotene and mineral components. EFFECT: reduced cost price and broadened assortment of vodkas with biologically active substances. 1 tbl
