Ratio of energy consumption for building up mechanical loads (M) to mass of processed rubber (R) is maintained within (0.01-250)W. h/kg. Value of O/R is maintained within 4.10-5 and 5.10-3 and value of M/R is maintained within (0.2-100) W.h/kg. Value of O/R is maintained within 2.10-4 and 3.10-3, and value of M/R is maintained within (o.6-40)W.h/kg. Mechanical loads are applied to articles with change in direction of their application from 3 s to 300 s. Device for reprocessing rubber containing article has working chamber, ozone-containing gas feeder and device for mechanical deformation of articles Device for mechanical deformation of articles is made of at least two sets of guide members one of which is installed for displacement along members of other set and is furnished with projecting working members installed for engagement with articles under processing. Sets of guide members form narrowing working clearance and are made for shifting the articles in direction of narrowing of working clearance. At least one of sets of guide members is installed for reciprocating relative to other sets. At least one of sets of article deformation device is provided with teeth for engagement with article reinforcement framework members. Sets of guide members form system orientated coaxially with tyres fed for reprocessing. At least one of sets of guide members is located at outer side of tyre.
