METHOD OF PROCESSING INDUSTRIAL RUBBER GOODS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: processing of industrial rubber goods. SUBSTANCE: method includes destruction of goods rubber component in ozone-containing gas medium with application of load deforming goods rubber. Ozone-containing gas medium is subjected to action of mechanical vibrations and/or light flux, and/or heating. Processed goods are additionally acted upon with light flux. Parameters of action of mechanical vibrations on gas medium, in particular, intensity of acoustic energy is 120-150 dB within frequency range from 6 kHz to 1 MHz, amplitude is within the range of 1 mcm to 0.2 m and frequency from 0.01 Hz to 1 MHz. Use is made of ultraviolet and visible spectra of light flux. Gas medium is heated up to 34-40 C, and goods are heated to temperature up to 35-40 C. Processed goods are additionally heated before beginning of process. EFFECT: higher rate of destruction of industrial rubber goods. 11 cl
