SUBSTANCE: method involves poultry infection with infected blood taken off in 3-4 postmortal hours from heart of died bird as a result of oral infection and cooled at 15-25 C after death. Blood is applied on palatoschisis mucosa and bird is kept at 0-10 C and at 15-25 C from agony point. Virulent incapsulated bacteria are isolated from cadaver heart blood in 3-4 postmortal hours. Method can be used for standardization of strains of pasteurellae and diagnosis of pasteurellosis in poultry. EFFECT: improved method of isolation and enhancement. 1 tbl
