FIELD: composite materials, applicable in electrical engineering and electronics. SUBSTANCE: composite material contains aluminium or aluminium alloy and particles of more refractory material featuring by the fact that is additionally contains a copper element or copper elements, which makes up 0.5 to 1.5 of the content by mass of the refractory material at the following proportion of components, percent by mass: particles of refractory material - 14 to 16, aluminium or aluminium alloy - the rest. The composite material may contain a copper element in the form of powder of copper or copper alloy at an average size of particles equal to 0.1 to 1.0 of the average size of particles of refractory material. The composite material may contain copper elements in the form of constructional elements of different section located in the required direction at a distance between them within 20 to 3500 of average sizes L of particles of refractory material; the cross- section area of the copper element makes up (100 to 2,000,000)L2 of square of the average size of particles of refractory material. In the conditions of fluctuating temperature the offered material may additionally contain constructional elements of steel for increasing the strength.
