DEVICE FOR LOWERING AND EXTRACTION OF DOWN-HOLE ARTICLES Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used for lowering and extraction of down-hole articles such as valves, instruments, etc. from seating nipples of mandrel pockets and also for gripping wire or rope, rod head and for lifting emergency units from string of pump-compressor pipes. Device has hollow body with longitudinal slots and openings. Installed inside body is spring-biased rod of variable cross-section. Rod is provided with pin. Located externally on body is spring-biased collet with lobes which are arranged in longitudinal openings. Seated in longitudinal slots of body is limiter for collet. Installed in upper part of body are strips with pins. Strips can be moved longitudinally. Upper ends of aforesaid strips interact with rod. Lower ends of strips are pivotally linked with spring-biased cams which are made for possible displacement along arc. Upper end of rod is connected with lowering sleeve. Rod spring is located between lowering sleeve and upper end of body. Pin of rod is installed in longitudinal slots of body above collet spring. Body of device is adapted for axial displacement relative to rod and collet. Lower part of rod can be rigidly connected with additional rod. Pivotally mounted on additional rod are interconnected and spring-biased levers with catcher. Spring is installed on additional rod between internal levers. Catcher having ribbed surface can be installed on additional rod. Application of aforesaid embodiment of device improves operating efficiency combined with simultaneous widening of functional potentialities. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
