FIELD: radiochemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in radiochemical technology of drug production. Carbonyl complexes of short-lived technetium(I) and rhenium(I) with general formula [Me(CO)3(H2O)3]+, where Me is 99Tc or 186Re, are prepared in a single-step process: potassium pertectetate or perrhenate are treated with carbonylation agent in presence of hydrohalogenic acid at 200-220 C and pressure 100-160 atm for 1-1.5 h.
