FIELD: radiochemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is concerned with development of methods for preparation of pharmaceutical agents based on radioactive isotopes. Preparation of water-soluble carbonyl complex of short-living technetium-99m involves treatment of potassium pertechnetate 99mKTcO4 with carbonylation agent in aqueous solution at 140-180°C and pressure 90-170 atm for 30-40 min. Carbonylation is conducted in presence of sodium iodide or potassium iodide and perchloric or sulfuric acid and resulting gaseous technetium-99m pentacarbonyl is caught by aqueous or water-alcohol solution into receiver.
EFFECT: enabled preparation of carbonyl complex of short-living technetium-99m.
