ROTOR RINSING AND E-RING MOUNTING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering; assembling electrical machine rotors. SUBSTANCE: device used for simultaneous rotor rinsing and E-ring installation has E-ring feeding unit, rotor rinsing unit, E-ring mounting unit, and rotor extraction unit. E-ring feeding unit is built up of two rotor guide assemblies that function to feed rotor shaft to upper side of E-ring feeding unit that feeds two E-rings to lower sides of mentioned rotor guide assemblies so that rotor shaft is directly supported by delivered E-rings. Rotor rinsing device functions to rinse rotor by injecting definite amount of rinsing solution onto rotor shaft supported on either side with E-rings; E-ring mounting unit provides for reliable sealing of rotor shaft supported by E-rings for simultaneous insertion of E-rings on either side of motor shaft when rinsing procedure is ceased. Then rotor extraction unit takes rotor together with motor shaft and E-rings out of rotor guide assemblies. EFFECT: facilitated rotor rinsing and handling during this procedure. 5 cl, 7 dwg
