COMPRESSOR FOR AGGRESSIVE MEDIA Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: mechanics; machines operating in aggressive media. SUBSTANCE: compressor performs functions of pump and compressor. Pump is provided with electric drive and compressor is provided with hydraulic drive. Device consists of four opposite working chambers whose sections have shape of segment formed by flexible envelope and valve unit. All four flexible envelopes are embraced by rigid ring having projections on its inner surface for embracing each envelope separately. Ring is connected with eccentric by means of bearing. Function of this eccentric is performed by revolving part of end electric motor, thus simplifying the device as a whole. Flexible envelope is corrugated which reduces deformation and increases its service life. Corrugations shall be made in definite way taking into account direction of elastic deformation of flexible envelope. Recesses on cylindrical surface are perpendicular relative to cylinder directrix. Projections and recesses on radial sides are made in form of beams diverging in way of rigid ring embracing the flexible envelopes.
