FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to otorhinolaryngology, particularly on oncology of ENT organs, and can be used for early diagnosis of laryngeal tumor. Biopsy is carried out in the patients suspected of larynx cancer by means of the hardware-software complex InSpectr-M. Laser radiation at wave length 350 nm is used to irradiate laryngeal tissues and detect radiation intensity in their fluorescence spectra in the wavelength range from 600 to 650 nm. Diagnostic probe is first placed on three arbitrary points in the intact mucosa of the larynx, then on the point within the visible border of the altered mucosa of the larynx, then on the points throughout the area of the altered mucous membrane. Distance between the investigated points in the area of the altered mucous membrane is 1 mm. Aim biopsy of the laryngeal mucosa is made at the point with the highest fluorescence intensity.
EFFECT: method enables conducting an out-patient examination of any involved laryngeal regions, including those difficult to access for examination by a conventional fibroscope with the least traumatization of the laryngeal mucosa.
