FIELD: cleaning of exterior surface of pipelines of old or damaged coatings, applicable in repair and mounting of pipelines. SUBSTANCE: the machine cleaning part uses a rotor with axles around the edges and groups of cleaning tools with catches installed on flexible couplings, flexible coupling tensioning assembly. The catch consists of a tubular component, through which the flexible coupling loop is passed, and plates rigidly attached to the tubular component and oriented in opposite direction. One of the plates is engageable with the lateral face of a bushing installed on the rotor axle and rests on the bushing, it can move relative to the bushing in radial direction to the machine axis and is fixed against longitudinal movement along the bushing axis. At least the two other plates are engageable with the lateral face of the pipeline and rest on it.
