FIELD: holography. SUBSTANCE: lenses for holographic spectacles are used in sun glasses, decorative, advertising or club holographic spectacles which effect is provided by holographic image emerging with illumination of lenses by natural or artificial light. They are intended to reduce color contrast over lens aperture in transmitted light when brightness of holographic image increases, to prolong duration of storage of brightness of such image and to improve shock-proof properties of lenses which is importance for protection of eyes of viewer in case of casual damage to lenses. Lenses for holographic spectacles have optically clear base on which internal surface facing viewer layer 2 of registering material that records at least one volume hologram is deposited. Layer is made from material transparent in spectral interval in which diffraction efficiency of hologram is maximum. One layer as minimum manufactured from selectively absorbing material with increased absorption of radiation in green part of visible range in region of specified spectral interval and maximum transmission outside it is deposited after layer with hologram. This made possible to diminish to considerable extent and in some cases to suppress completely spatial modulation of radiation transmitted through lenses caused by formation of holographic image. Above-mentioned components of lenses are joined to form one structure with use of optical adhesive. EFFECT: spatial modulation of radiation transmitted through lenses is diminished to considerable extent or suppressed completely. 38 cl, 9 dwg
