FLEXIBLE SEALING-LOCKING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: locking and simultaneous sealing of containers, transportation tank of different sizes, car-carrier lorries, hopper grain lorries, and other grain storage devices. SUBSTANCE: device has rope which one end has cap and another end is fixed to provide conic surface. Members which fix rope piece and spring are located in housing. Members which fix rope piece are designed as two blocks. Housing is designed as cylinder with two coaxial through holes which are located in opposite ends of side surface of cylinder and are designed as for holding rope piece. Housing also contains two segments which external side surface is partly cylindrical corresponding to inner cylindrical surface of housing. Another part of side surface of both segments is designed as two inclined identical converging symmetrical flat surfaces. One segment is equipped with through hole which diameter conforms to diameter of rope piece which is mounted in it. Another segment is equipped with through hole in which spring is mounted. Blocks are spring-loaded with respect to housing using said spring. Invention specifies shape of blocks. EFFECT: increased reliability. 6 cl, 14 dwg
