FIELD: food and agricultural industries. SUBSTANCE: method comprises treating plants, e. g. cereals used in brewing, with bacterial lactic acid agent. Treatment is carried out in field by spraying plants with agent to obtain plant-growing product, such as parley or rye, which is treated in manner described above. This technology makes it possible to improve quality of seeds by changing bacterial flora thereof, to use lactic acid bacteria for improving quality of seeds and to obtain plant-growing product with improved quality characteristics for use in brewing and baking industries.
