FIELD: aviation; aircraft manufacture. SUBSTANCE: straight-and-level flight is effected as follows: at the top wings are forced to lower at negative angles of attack relative to level and positive angles of attack relative to incoming flow. Underneath wings are forced to raise making use of lifting force of incoming flow having imparted positive angles of attack to wings relative to level of vehicle making use of inertia of motion of vehicle. Spurious longitudinal vibrations of vehicle are damped by longitudinal motion of wings by means of dampers arranged longitudinal relative to flight. Upward motion of wings is prevented by means of brake making use of spring whose energy is employed in downward motion of wings, thus reducing power of drive. Approach of characteristics of flapping flight closer to these of gliding flight due to constant check of lifting force of wings through bringing them efficiency towards flow by turning around longitudinal axes of wings. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 4 dwg
