FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: medium has components at the following ratio, g/1 l of distilled water: citric acid, 4.9-5.0; potassium hydrogen phosphate, 4.9-5.0; sodium chloride, 4.9-5.0; magnesium sulfate, 4.9-5.0; iron sulfate, 0.04-0.05; zinc sulfate, 0.08-0.09; asparagine, 0.9-1.0; glycine, 0.9-1.0; and glycerol, 30.0-31.0 ml. Medium provides rapid growth of staphylococci from the first culturing day that ensures to increase biomass accumulation up to 14-15 billion microbe cells/1 ml of cultural fluid. Sterile oxygen and carbon dioxide feeding is not required. EFFECT: increased yield of biomass.
