SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a nutrient medium for culturing E. coli that comprises the following components in 1 l of distilled water: citric acid, sodium chloride, magnesium sulfate, potassium hydrogen phosphate, iron sulfate, asparagines, glucose, glycerol taken in the required ratio of components. Method for preparing coli-bacteriosis anatoxin involves culturing E. coli in nutrient medium of abovementioned composition and addition of 0.6% formalin to the prepared biomass for detoxification of E. coli toxins and separation of biomass by filtration. Then method involves sorption of inactivated coli-bacteriosis anatoxin in aluminum oxide hydrate gel. Invention provides carrying out culturing E. coli in standard bottles and to increase the growth and yield of E. coli biomass. Invention can be used in preparing coli-bacteriosis anatoxin.
