FIELD: production of ceramic materials, which may be used as heat-insulating filler working under high temperature and increased pressure conditions. SUBSTANCE: method involves calcination, grinding, dosing and charging natural aluminosilicate basic material into plate-type pelletizer; wetting ground basic material; pelletizing by plate-type pelletizer; dosing and feeding additional amount of ground basic material into pelletizer; sieving produced pellets for separating base fraction; calcination base fraction in rotary furnace to obtain maximum density; sieving calcined pellets; grinding 60-90% of calcined aluminosilicate basic material to particle size with sieve residue of 0.063 mm (10-20%), with average particle size of 20-40 microns, and grinding 10-40% of basic material to particle size with sieve residue of 0.063 mm less than 10%, with average particle size being less than 20 microns, preferably less than 5 microns. Finely dispersed basic material is uniformly fed into pelletizer upon wetting of ground material and producing granules and prior to pelletizing process. Ground basic material is wetted with aqueous solution of organic binder or clay.
