SUBSTANCE: method for producing controlled gas medium actually free from oxidizing gases and containing hydrogen held at pressure of 10-7 to 10-3 millibar (10-5 to 10-1 Pa) includes stage during which gas- absorbing material charged with gaseous hydrogen earlier is placed inside device in front of its sintered packing. After that sintered packing is produced between two parts of device over their perimeter and device proper is evacuated during this operation or later on through adequately arranged tail which is hermetically sealed upon evacuation by means of soldering.
