FIELD: production of gas-absorbing materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of at least one suspension of gas-absorbing material particles on substrate, particle size being approximately smaller than 150 mcm, in water-, alcohol-, or water/alcohol-base dispersing medium in which mass percent of organic compounds having boiling point above 250 C is 1; gas- absorbing material-to-dispersing medium weight ratio is between 4:1 and 1:1; then at least one layer of suspension of gas-absorbing material is deposited onto metal medium using serigraphy method followed by drying coating obtained in this way by evaporating volatile components and annealing dry coating in vacuum furnace at temperature ranging between 800 and 1000 C; dry coating is covered under vacuum with material resistant to physical and chemical variations in vacuum at any temperature of process. Gas-absorbing device produced in this way is also presented in description of invention. EFFECT: improved sorbing ability of thin films obtained and of gas-absorbing device built around them. 20 cl, 3 dwg, 8 ex
