FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to process of manufacture of grids for flat screens coated by non-evaporating gas-absorbing materials during which metal sheet of same thickness as finished grid has area of surface at least as large as zone of image formation and one side of which as minimum is coated by one or several non-evaporating gas-absorbing materials. Then parts of sheet so coated are removed selectively. Invention also discloses some variants of grids manufactured according to this technology.
