FIELD: medicine, particularly, psychophysiology. SUBSTANCE: method includes measurement of time of response to signals of hazard produced by simulating apparatuses from 4 to 30 times; processing of statistic measurement results as small sampling by method of central deviations; determination of mean value of response time, standard deviation, error and truth of mean value; calculation of required number of experiments on the basis of truth of mean value, and, if required, additional experiments are carried out; determination of minimum and maximum values of response time on the basis of mean values and standard deviations; comparison of obtained data with permissible limit of this psychophysiological parameter for respective profession and determination of operator fitness. EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination of professional fitness of operator (driver) for control of moving objects and safety of man active life. 3 cl
