FIELD: thermal treatment of ferrous metals, manufacture of tyres from carbon steel for tram rolling stock. SUBSTANCE: process includes rolling and stamping of tyres in hot condition, isothermal holding in unheated pits, slowed-down cooling in air. Temperature of metal of tyres is kept in interval between 840-880 C between rolling and stamping. Process of isothermal holding is carried out in the course of 0.8-1.1 h at temperature 500-650 C with subsequent slowed-down cooling to temperature of 250 C. EFFECT: provision for conditions of antiflake treatment of tram tyres in unheated pits and narrowing of temperature interval between rolling and stamping of tyres.
