FIELD: elimination of spillage of oil and petroleum products from surfaces of water basins and rivers; environment control. SUBSTANCE: device includes bearing frame. revolving drum with oil sorbing surface of ferrule, roller, chute and pipe line for discharge of gathered oil and floats. Puller roller is perforated and is provided with shield in form of solid plate with bending radius equal to radius of puller roller which overlaps perforations of puller roller in its lower quadrant on side of revolving drum. Perforations of puller roller enhance discharge of oil and shield keeps oil passing through puller roller from returning to regenerated surface of revolving drum.
