FIELD: environment control technology. SUBSTANCE: device is intended for liquidation of spilt oil and oil products from water surface by their collection. Device has load-bearing frame, rotating drum with oil-absorbing sheathing, pressing-off roller, pipeline for branching out collected oil, and floats. Secured to external surface of rotating drum are heat-emitting elements made in the form of ohmic resistance. Heat-emitting elements are of U-shaped configuration and their ends extend beyond oil-absorbing sheathing. Aforesaid embodiment of device ensures its reliable and stable operation in cold time of day and in winter period due to heating of sheathing of rotating drum, thus reducing possibility of diminishing absorbing capacity of drum sheathing at low temperatures.
