FIELD: environmental control; applicable in elimination of oil and oil products spillages on surfaces of water reservoirs and rivers with gathering of spilled oil and oil products. SUBSTANCE: device has carrying frame, drums rotating in opposite directions with oil-absorbing shells, pipeline for withdrawal of gathered oil and floats. Secured to surfaces of rotating drum shells are perforated flexible plates. Oils absorbing shells are fixed to perforated flexible plates by joining of oil-absorbing shells together with perforated flexible plates through perforations of flexible plates. EFFECT: higher operating reliability of device due to exclusion of displacement of oil absorbing shells over surfaces of drums and changing over from cyclic operation to continuous operating conditions. 2 dwg, 2 ex
