FIELD: mechanical engineering; welding, soldering, cutting and other types of thermal machining of materials by light and laser beams. SUBSTANCE: device has laser radiation source and preheating source. Electrodes are installed in radiating focus of ellipsoid reflector. One end of light conductor is connected with laser radiation source, and other end is connected with focusing optical system. Reflector can be provides with ring insert with inlet hole to pass laser beam. Focusing optical system can be arranged in insert hole. Insert can have ellipsoidal or paraboloid reflecting surface. Focusing optical system can be arranged at end of reflector behind aperture angle. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of device, provision of its displacement relative to machine material without disturbing relative position of optical axes of radiation sources. 3 cl, 2 dwg
