FIELD: petrochemical synthesis and technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of synthesis of aniline by hydrogenization of nitrobenzene in the vapor phase. Invention proposes to hydrogenize nitrobenzene to aniline on the industrial oxide aluminium-copper-zinc-chrome catalysts DV-8-2 used for synthesis of methanol or NTK-4, NTK-4m, NTK-8 for low-temperature conversion of carbon oxide at 155-240 C under atmosphere pressure. Proposed method ensures near 100% of nitrobenzene conversion and 99.2-99.8% of aniline yield. Method eliminates the stage of preparing the special catalyst and carries out the process at lower temperature. Aniline is used for production of dyes, aniline-formaldehyde resins, pharmaceutical preparations, polyisocyanates, antidetonation addition agents to motor fuels and other substances of an organic synthesis.
