FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: vapor-phase hydrogenation of nitrobenzene into aniline is carried out at 180-280 C and atmosphere pressure on industrial cement-containing copper-zinc and copper-zinc-manganese oxide catalysts for low-temperature carbon monoxide conversion and gas emission treatment. Conversion of nitrobenzene is close to 100% and yield of aniline up to 99.6%. EFFECT: avoided requirement of specially prepared catalysts and reduced process temperature. 3 cl, 7 ex
