FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of aqueous-alcoholic mixture by mixing alcohol with potable water and clarification of the mixture by fat-free milk. Settling is carried out at least during some hours and preliminary filtration of clarified mixture and its filtration is conducted through activated carbon and sand filter with preparing transparent colorless product with mild taste. Fat-free milk in the form of mixture of fat-free milk with warm water is introduced in aqueous-alcoholic mixture in the amount sufficient for precipitation of undesirable substances. Mixture of dry milk and water is prepared in ratio 1:2. On intensive mixing, tartaric acid is simultaneously added in mixture. Preliminary filtration of clarified mixture is carried out through a layer of ground filtering cardboard arranged on a layer of quartz sand. Settling is carried out during from 1 to 3 days with periodical mixture mixing. EFFECT: higher organoleptical properties due to improved process of water purification. 2 cl, 2 ex
