FIELD: fire extinguishing equipment. SUBSTANCE: forest fire extinguishing unit has vehicle, device for supplying fire-extinguisher, control panel and overhang working equipment for clearing strip. Overhang equipment includes grader for feeding ground to catapult. Unit is further provided with cutting tools for tree felling and brush cutting, with angle of attack being adjusted, composite pontoons, grader and gun barrel for supplying fire-extinguishing liquid into fire zone. Pontoons are positioned at sides of unit and constructed so as to be unfolded along unit. Grader may be adjusted relative to blade and is positioned behind housing of the unit.
