FIELD: medicine, immunology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an antibody fragment that can be used for neutralization of TNF-α in patient needing with such neutralization. Method involves the administration to patient IgG-Fab-fragment showing reaction with respect to TNF-α. Indicated Fab-fragment is originated from polyclonal IgG and this fragment is administrated to the patient suffering with septic shock or septic shock symptoms. For neutralization of TNF-α a pharmaceutical composition containing IgG-Fab-fragment that shows reaction to TNF-α and a physiologically acceptable carrier is used being Fab-fragment originates from polyclonal IgG.
