FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement device based on Coriolis effect and can be used to measure density of material flowing through flow rate tube of device. Operation of proposed densimeter is based on measurement of inherent frequency of vibrating tube, on correction of measured frequency for compensation of it with increase of mass flow rate of material and on use of corrected inherent frequency ( or period of vibrations ) of tube to determine density. Correction coefficient is found by magnitudes of mass MR and volumetric VR flow rates of flowing material. Magnitude of MR is measured with the use of speed transducers anchored on flow rate tube. Output signal of densimeter generated in previous cycle of measurement is used to determine magnitude of VR. EFFECT: provision for high accuracy in field of high mass flow rates. 26 cl, 6 dwg
