FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: X- ray source for irradiation of body cavity surface has case extended tubular probe, aiming assembly and cylinder to be pumped. Case includes electron beam source and electron beam generating members positioned along beam path. Tubular probe passes along central axis from case along beam path. Aiming assembly passes along central axis. It is coupled to farther end of probe, and it contains aiming member designed to radiate X-rays when electrons fall on it. Probe tip assembly and corresponding electronic control facility include members for displacement of aiming member on beam path. Aiming member is practically transparent to X-rays. Cylinder is coupled to farther end and is pumped so that, when pumped, it stretches cavity up to form which allows irradiation of surface with homogeneous dose.
