FIELD: galvanizing of long and narrow parts. SUBSTANCE: process of hot-dip galvanizing includes successive passage of parts through cleaning, pickling and flux baths, drying, feed of parts into galvanizing bath and subsequent cooling of galvanized parts. Parts are fed into baths for preliminary treatment by means of transport system continuously moving towards baths of preliminary treatment positioned one after another. One of them as minimum performs simultaneously several operations of preliminary treatment. Temperature in baths of preliminary treatment is kept higher than room temperature. Baths are connected to one gear that sucks formed vapors. Process makes it feasible to shorten time of passage of billets through baths which results in reduction of expenses. EFFECT: reduced production expenses. 6 cl, 1 dwg
