FIELD: shut-off fittings for liquids. SUBSTANCE: gate valve is intended for shut-off of flows of heavily fouled working medium transported through pipeline. Gate valve has following components: splittable body consisting of two parts, blade-type shut-off member, sealing gland, pressing member which is in contact with sealing gland, seats, actuating unit, and supports of actuating unit. Fastening members which connect sealing gland and supports of actuating unit with body are parted away from each other. Movable member is made in the form of strip. Strip is bent at angle towards sealing gland and can come into contact with sealing gland by its lower end-face. Surface of body interacting with sealing gland is made at acute angle with respect to plane of shut-off member. Peak of aforesaid angle is turned towards seats. According to other version, gate valve has following components: splittable body which is made up of two parts, blade-type shut-off member, sealing gland, pressing member which is in contact with sealing gland and body, seats, actuating unit, and supports of actuating unit. Fastening members which connect sealing gland and supports of actuating unit with body are parted away from each other. At least one of seats is made up of end-face surfaces of elastically deformable member and bush. End-face surfaces are in contact with each other. Bush is located in body at external side and can be displaced towards elastically deformable member. Aforesaid embodiment of gate valve ensures its higher operational reliability.
