FIELD: manufacture of reinforcement, namely systems for closing main pipelines for transporting highly contaminated media. SUBSTANCE: damper includes body having at least one seat, cutter-type locking member, packing gland engaging with locking member and gland. Packing gland is in the form of wedge turned aside from shutter body. Gaskets are arranged between gland and cover of damper body. Damper includes in addition second packing gland forced to first packing gland by means of second gland. The last is joined with body and it engages with first gland by its inner surface. In variant body surface turned to packing gland is made as portion of lower surface of cylinder whose axis is normal relative to locking member. Diameter of base of said cylinder is more than horizontal dimension of locking member. Contours of packing glands and their glands correspond to those of body surface.
