FIELD: food-production industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, green peas are washed, inspected and packet together with prescribed liquid. Prescribed liquid contains drinking water, common salt, water-soluble sodium salt of alimentary organic acid, and sweetening agent. After that preserve is subjected to hermetic sealing and thermal sterilization. Aforesaid method allows for widening range of producing preserves due to no use of sugar for their production. In addition, loss of biologically-active and nourishing substances of raw material is reduced. This opens way for year-round production procedure together with reduced power-input. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
