FIELD: machine engineering, namely assembling joints such as rod-sleeve joined by means of axially symmetrical surfaces of revolution. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of joining assembled parts and applying marks onto them; testing assembled joint in testing bed, measuring numerical values of output parameter of joint for two adjacent angular relative positions of parts; creating simulation design model on the base of measured parameters; with use of model calculating numerical values of output quality parameter of joint for two other angular relative positions of parts at their full mutual revolution around symmetry axis; orienting parts at shifting them in angular direction until mark arrangement; determining angle value according to condition of providing the best numerical value of output quality parameter; joining parts.
