FIELD: alcohol production. SUBSTANCE: alcohol is digested from brew in brew column to transfer ethyl alcohol and accompanied admixtures into brew distillate with column vapors. Brew distillate is freed from head and intermediate impurities including fusel oil components in epuration column using hydroselection. Epurate is subjected to rectification in alcohol column to run off fusel oil, fusel alcohol, and non-pasteurized alcohol fractions. Head fractions of ethyl alcohol are distilled in distillation column receiving hot water into middle part of its digestion zone. Head fraction concentrate is withdrawn from condenser, whereas concentrate of propyl alcohols, taken off from liquid phase of the plate disposed over inlets for hot water and water-alcohol liquid from still, is returned into brew. Ethyl alcohol is purified in additional rectification column fed with vapor and its condensate from brew preheater and liquid fractions from condenser of carbon dioxide separator and alcohol collector. From condenser of this column, head fraction is withdrawn and fed onto feeding tray of distillation column. Fusel oil fraction is isolated from vapor phase of 5-11 trays of digestion zone of additional column, whereas brew distillate is run off from the top part of this column and used to feed epuration column.
